Hello, sorry for my bad English. It is difficult for me to write in this language. Can someone tell me, why Pudge's voice actor pronounce his name as [puʤ], when it must be [pʌʤ] ?

Most likely for dramatic effect. Pudge also has an accent, so that may be it.

I believe it's an accent thing. To my knowledge, Pudge is based on the ol' british lad, which is why he is talking like this.

It's similar to Slark and Bristleback being british characters (in the matter of voice). I feel like voice actors would look on the pictures of heroes, read their lore and they had an idea on how those heroes sounds like. I think all of them did amazing job (maybe except Sam A. Mowry, who has almost the same voice with each hero: Slardar, Necrophos, Beastmaster, etc. Only Clockwerk is really different).

Lone Druid and Lycan sounds like russians talking English. Luna is Irish, Death Prophet is French. Skywrath Mage has some weird half-russian accent that I can't fully recognize.

Axe is a typical American hot-head, like a soldier on the front lines. Maybe a mix of an american football player.

I think it's more Skandinavian than Russian. Although I might be wrong :p

I find the pronunciations pretty funny.

Some say Pudge, some Padge, other people say PUDGA :D

No matter how you spell it, it's always going to be our lovely Pudge.
