Reverse Polarity!

For me it's the strongest ultimate in the game. Effect is the same as Black Hole, but cooldown is only half and it's not channeling meaning that Magnus has no obvious counterpicks like Enigma has. Level 3 RP >> level 3 black hole, no questions asked.

Except AoE is smaller... and doesn't have useful agh's update.

uh... so it's not an ulti, its just a combo... but Bane and Mirana can do this thing where you have mirana back up, trap the gank victim in a Nightmare, and shoot the arrow from pretty far away for huge damage and stun, then both of them can nuke. i'm pretty bad at the game but i'm alright at combos.

How about Chaotic Offering? It has a big AoE stun (although not very long) and then huge damage following provided the enemy stays in reach of the Demon things.

Dream Coil sets up a whole bunch of other abilities... like Ghost ship and RP and Black Hole.

I personally like Global Silence as a counter-initiator...

I voted Doom.

Twelve seconds is a LONG time to take a hero out of a fight, and Doom can't be countered. Black hole can be disrupted with stuns (If he has BKB you can use primal roar, swap, etc). Chronosphere can also be countered by venge swap, and Chrono is pretty ineffective against split pushing (Or it is at least not used to it's maximum potential).

No hero really counters Doom. Once it's applied, they're out for 12 seconds. Put this on a hero with activatables like abyssal blade. Chrono and black hole seem like obvious choices because they can shut a whole team down, but I don't really see that happen too often. It's not as much about your skill as a player, as your opponents lack of foresight. "They have Enigma. He's MIA. We're fighting. I wonder what he's doing? Maybe waiting in the trees to land a BH!"

Regardless of positioning, someone is getting Doomed in the fight unless Doom is instagibbed (Pretty rare). I honestly hate black hole as a spell. It's very risky on an already risky hero. Chrono and Doom are close because of impact and low cooldowns, but I still think Doom edges it out. :D
