Poll Question:

Which lane should Lifestealer take?
Hard lane
Safe lane
Mid lane
Jungle

I understand that Lifestealer is traditionally an early game jungler. However, I'm making a farm heavy guide for him, and I was wondering if he can take the mid lane. His life steal and "E" key ability could get the other hero off the lane to miss out on farm. This could also get him an easy hero kill with 1v1. Thoughts?

I've played Lifestealer mid before, it does work to a certain extent, however I was versing a decent Tinker and so he consistently harassed me with Laser and Heat-Seeking Missiles. The only thing that kept me alive was Open Wounds (healing myself) and Rage which I had to use numerous times to survive harass from his magical damage.

However he is not the strongest mid I believe and is better off in the safelane, where you can get a ton of farm if you have a good support and also possibly get kills easily. You will also get the same amount of farm in the safelane compared to mid so really it's much more ideal.

So really he is not a mid-lane hero that can survive and get farm in top-tier levels. LS will generally get out-laned mid and cannot get kills without tower diving imo or you're versing an enemy hero with no escape method or durability with is highly unlikely.
Your new diet for heroes; You will need 4 wards (cuz wards taste better), 1 set of tangoes, 1 mango, 1 cheese.
With this you can make a nice Tango Mango Cheese platter. You can wash this all down with a nice bottle of water, Can be flavoured with red, green, yellow, blue, purple AND GOLD!
Caution: Taking roshan 3 times is required.

Most points I agree with. He would be vulnerable to enemy attacks. However, if you're on safe lane with an uncooperative support you could miss out on a lot of farm. This is why I thought mid might be good, as it presents unconstested cash opportunities.

Jungling with lifestealer is safe but rather slow IMO so I'd prefer to take the safelane. As for mid, I think it's okay as long as the enemy doesn't pick a hero like Huskar or OD as they are heroes that are really hard to lane against.
