I know, but like i said, there is little reason to wait in lane next to your opponent. You can stay out of range since you have a blink.

Or you could choose to invest 2k gold in something infinitely more useful and let your support build it. Vlad's is not a carry item. Let the supports build it. Plus, Riki doesn't need the lifesteal anyway, because he doesn't really manfight.

Its not like i get it a lot on riki, i would hardly ever build it. But there may be a moment when you dont have a good vlads hero, or when your supports dont have the gold, and you REALLY need one.

In that situation its not a good reason to say: dont get it because it 'gives away your position'.

I don't care if Enchantress has to build it or not. It's a waste of a slot on Riki, and even worse as a first item.

i do agree with your point being that it makes riki's position easy to make out, but lets face it people below 3.5K don't actually look for these small give-aways in the first place :P

edit: yeah but the little green vapor thingies might be enough tho.
