Well actually if you are a farmed pl/naga you just send your illusion to kill him while you clean the others lane ( you just buy mkb for the evasion), troll strenght imho is in the early/mid game, not bad in the late (actually good if you have significant gold advantage), but defenetly you don't want to face a six slotted luna/naga/pl/void with troll!

Medusa is just unkillable late game. Plus her ultimate is pretty incredible and can really make it easy to wipe the other team if used at the right time. That being said, all carries have their merits and should be picked at the right time.

The best lategame support is probably Omniknight just because of how well he scales. Even if the enemy team has 3 cores who are all 6 slotted, he completely blocks all physical damage (buildings included, if you have scepter). He's sturdy enough to stay and fight, and has a BKB for anyone who needs it every few seconds.

The best initiator/teamfighter is probably Enigma because his ult goes through magic immunity and is still potentially gamechanging at any point in the match. Plus with his W he can be a really great pusher all by himself.

Pretty much anyone is almost un-kill-able if they are farmed. Like if Dazzle gets a heart, a satanic, damage items, a refresher for Shallow Grave... Yeah.

There is 2 types of un-kill-able: You either kill everyone so fast that they don't have time to attack you (Medusa, PL, etc) or you have billions of HP.

If you are asking for the best late game heroes, you need to look into roles..

Teamfight Carries - Spectre/Void/Medusa
Split Pushers - Phantom Lancer/Naga Siren/Nature's Prophet
Supports - Dazzle/Dark Seer/Enigma
Initiators - Batrider/Tidehunter

Keep in mind, once the late game hits, it becomes less about a 1v1 "who carries hardest" battle, and becomes more of a "which carry synergizes best with all the other heroes in my team".

Any hero with percentage based skills will skill damn well into late game. Huskar with aghs + Necrophos with aghs is pretty damn scary. It is an instakill for anyone on their team + they get no buyback. So if you manage to catch their carry out really late game then that is gamechanging. But basically any percentage based skill is good. Life Break, Feast, Midnight Pulse, Illusion skills, etc.

Tinker has his friggin permasheep ****. Huskar has his instakill eblade-orchid-veil- aghs ult thing. Six slotted Tiny can disassemble your base, backdoor protection or not.

Abaddon is actually quite scary when he gets levels and gear. Add in his shield and then his ultimate. He turns into an impossibly tanky hero.

Abaddon is a decent semicarry, but not a hardcarry. He can draw attention to himself so enemy either has to kill him, which is hard if he uses his ulti properly or ignore him and let him shred people to pieces. But if he is the core hero he can be easily shut down with disables and Eul's Scepter of Divinity/ Scythe of Vyse in particular, so making him your main dd is a bad idea.

As about which carry is the hardest, I would suggest Phantom Assassin. In theory she can easily devastate the enemy team when, and only when she is lucky with crits. The chance of this is of course, minimal(0.15^5), but just the possibility of this happening makes her potentially the strongest one.

I think he meant Support Abaddon, which can be quite annoying in the Late Game with an Aghanim's Scepter against AoE lineups. Being able to Purge Stuns/Hex/Slow/Silence/etc. on someone every 6 seconds is also amazing in the Late Game.
