Lore:
Long has Pestilence manifested itself into this world, and long has it been preparing for this moment. Remaining undetected for centuries, its swarm of Clusterlings grew plentiful, enough to overrun the entire planet. But it was patient. It couldn't fight all the heroes alone. It waited until a huge conflict spanning the entire world had begun. The Infestation itself had joined this battle that had lasted for eons. It is indeed a worthy distraction while its loyal minions bring the rest of the world to its knees.

Innate Ability (D): Pestilent Swarm
Pestilence is unable to attack. Instead, it commands 2 Clusterlings to defend it at all times. The Clusterlings have a melee attack that deals damage (based on Pestilence's stats) to enemies. After a Clusterling is hit once, it dies after 2 seconds, providing a small gold bounty to enemies that kill it. Whenever a Clusterling dies, a new one is spawned at the current position of Pestilence. All Clusterlings have an ability that lets them commit suicide (bound to Q).
- 1.5 second spawn cooldown

Spawn of Pestilence.

Notes:

Q: Caste Progression
Type: Passive
Each level in this skill increases the variety and total number of Clusterlings spawned. On the second level, Clusterling spitters are added to the army, and on the fourth level, Clusterling fliers are added to the army.
- +1/2/3/4 maximum Clusterlings

Clusterlings emerge from the putrid mass that is the Infestation.

Notes:

W: Frenzy Pheromone
Type: No Target
Affects: Clusterlings
Pestilence sends signals to all Clusterlings on the map, stirring them into a frenzy. These enraged Clusterlings gain an increase in damage, attack speed and movement speed, and do not die until after the duration has ended.
- +30% movement speed
- +5/10/15/20 damage bonus
- 100 attack speed
- 3/4/5/6 second duration
- 60 mana cost
- 19/16/13/10 second cooldown

A chemical signal sends all Clusterlings into a state of madness, driven solely by the need to defend their hive from danger.

Notes

E: Hardened Shell
Type:
Passively grants Pestilence bonus armor. When activated, it gains invulnerability for a short duration.
- +2/4/6/8 armor
When activated,
- 2/3/4/5 second invulnerability
- 40 mana cost
- 30 second cooldown

Attacking the swarm at its source proves difficult for would-be exterminators.

Notes:

R: Extreme Infestation
Pestilence ceases all movement, rooting into the ground and spawning many Clusterlings one at a time, ignoring the maximum unit cap. Pestilence also gains a long-ranged attack for the duration.
- 0.9/0.7/0.5 second spawn rate
- 1000/1200/1400 attack range
- 1 attack per second
- 15 second duration
- 150 mana cost
- 90/80/70 second cooldown

Aghanim's Scepter upgrade

The Infestation is almost impossible to destroy once it takes root.

Notes:

Unit information:

Clusterling

Clusterling spitter

Clusterling flier

Introducing: The Infestation! He is so reliant on his spawns that he can't even attack on his own, and he needs a lot of health regeneration to keep up his endless spawning of Clusterlings. This hero can jungle or offlane effectively as his minions do extra damage to creeps and can help him last hit while he saps experience from a safe distance. With his ultimate, he can stay at the rear of teamfights whilst lobbing projectiles at enemies and sending a stream of Clusterlings at the enemy from a safe distance. If enemies decide to focus him down, he can briefly delay his death with Hardened Shell while his Clusterlings try to kill them. Frenzy Pheromones gives the Infestation's Clusterlings a huge movement speed boost and also increases their damage based on his stats, keeping him relevant in the late-game. While he can fight with his Clusterlings, he can also use them to effectively push towers. Unfortunately, silences and stuns screw him up hard.

Feedback would be appreciated :).

Woah, crazy hero! It's very interesting, but I feel this hero would be very difficult to use. I have many questions/comments about the clusterlings themselves. First off, they are very weak, you say they defend him, when really he has no way of being defended, considering they are destroyed in one hit. Most summoned units take more hits than that (at early levels) and the heroes that summoned them can attack also. Secondly, they deal very low damage. At level 1 they deal 20 each, which isn't much compared to all other heroes damage. The frenzy pheromones is the only way he can deal okay damage, but this means he will constantly have to spam this spell in order to harass or attack, because 20 damage for harassment isn't much. Also because his base mana is crazily low, he will have a hard time doing this, and even though his main clusterlings have 2x damage to creeps, you still have to be really precise with last hitting, as 40 damage each isn't much to work with. I've probably got everything wrong here, but compare these to other heroes summoned units and they don't seem that impressive. [enigma]]'s eidolon deals much more damage and take a lot more damage. Even though they aren't permanent like Pestilence's, they deal more damage and have more health.

It seems like a really good idea, but I just can help feeling he is too weak.

I also think that he is kinda underpowered, but I'm not sure how I can balance this to make it more powerful. Maybe I the initial damage of the Clusterlings can be based on Pestilence's stats right off the bat, and Frenzy Pheromones can increase the damage by a flat amount (or increase the attack speed. Speaking of attack speed, maybe I should buff the attack speed of the Clusterlings).
Anyway, after you hit a Clusterling, it will die in 2 seconds, so it can get a few more attacks off before it dies. Therefore, hitting Clusterlings are a futile effort (mostly). However, when they attack you, you can used Hardened Shell to become invulnerable and screw up their plans, so yeah.

Maybe damage from items gets given to the Clusterlings themselves. Like, if you buy desolator it will increase the damage of the clusterlings by 1/4 or something?

I made some balance changes to the hero right before you posted that suggestion :P. Why don't you check them out and give your opinions on them?

Will the damage % from stats be from all stats int/agi/str or just strength? Overall seems like it's better, as it adds a reason to actually buy items :)

Yes, it will be from all stats. I think that makes him overpowered in the late game now :P.

EDIT:
Unless there is a Medusa haha :D

So, small issue with the Agh's upgrade. Couldn't you pretty much just toggle in on in base and have a massive number of clusterlings?

That is true, maybe I should just make the upgraded ulti have a cooldown of 0 seconds, so the spell would still end after 15 seconds.
