Artisan, the Soul Weaver

Dire Agility

Base strength: 21(+2.2)
Base agility: 23(+2.9)
Base intelligence: 20(+2.0)
Base Armour: 2
Base damage: 62
Movespeed: 310
Attack type: Melee

Lore

A branch of the fate weaver sect, the Soul Weavers are an elite group that are recruited from all worlds with able warriors. These select few are then put through the most rigorous training known, and only 2 of 1000 recruits ever make it through the trials, but the results are two formidable fighters, unbeatable by none but the strongest daemons and (on rare occasions) mortals.

There is a legend among even these soldiers that eventually one would arise that would be the next Arch-Weaver, the strongest of them all. This being (mortal or not) would have the ability to travel seamlessly into the Spirit realm, able to crush most weaker souls merely by thinking about it.

Little did they know, this prophetic Weaver already exists, and has enrolled on the side of the Dire for reasons unknown; Be it Power or an even greater cause, be assured that none will stop him, for better or for worse.

Skills

Q: Soul concussion (Target enemy)

Using an advanced Spirit technique, Artisan lands
a rending blow to his opponent's very existence, forcing them
to lose the will to even stand; Stunning them for a duration along
with a silence that is applied afterwards.

Range: 150
Stun: 1.6/2/2.4/2.8
Silence: 4
Cooldown: 13
Mana cost: 80/90/100/110

"Your soul...Is weak."

W: Banishment (passive)

Each of Artisan's attacks has a chance to
temporarily send an enemy's soul deep into the Spirit
realm, dealing critical damage and ministunning.

Critical damage: 220%
Critical chance: 15%/20%/25%/30%
Ministun: 0.2

"Deeper and deeper, your soul sinks."

E: Spirit chains (Click ground)

Artisan latches on to the first unit hit, pulling
himself and his target into a point in the middle of the
original distance between them, slowing the target if an enemy was hit.

Range: 700/800/900/1000
Slow: 40%
Slow duration: 3/4/5/6
Cooldown: 16
Mana cost: 120/110/100/90

"Get over heeeeere!"

R: Soul bond (Target hero)

Artisan bonds his soul to a targeted hero for
a duration. During this time, he gains a percentage of
the target's stats and extra attack speed.
If a killing blow would be landed on Artisan while under
this effect, he has a chance to regain full health, whilst
killing the bonded hero in his place.

Duration: 16/20/24
Stat gain(%): 30%/40%/50%
Attack speed bonus: 50/80/110
Chance for death substitute: 5%/10%/15%
Cooldown: 80/70/60
Mana cost: 170/160/150

"No escape for the damned."

Responses

When meeting Weaver
-"Well fancy seeing you here."
-"Oh no no no, this world is MINE."
-"Skitter on, Weaver. Nobody wants you here."

Author's note.

Been a while since my last hero idea, and I felt like returning with something a little unique. I actually had two ideas in mind, and will upload the second one when I find the time.

Nice. Maybe include cast ranges? Cus a long range 3.5 second stun is nasty. And 20% chance to instakill a hero and regain full health at level 6 is too much, IMO. Other than that, great job as always.

Great comment, as always.
Tweaked the stun duration and added a range for it, so that Soul Chains is probably more important to his playstyle.

Also tweaked the chance for death substitute so that it scales.

A nice hero, not much I can correct you on. The ult is interesting, can it be countered via stun or bkb? It could be overpowered, as there are not any ults (that i know of) that outright kill an enemy at full health and resurrecting you instead. However I'm not really sure. I wish I could make these heroes in-game or something :)

I think this hero is kinda OP. If you look closely, he has a 1.6 second stun and a 4 second silence at level 1. And it's not like it's difficult to get close thanks to Spirit Chains. I suggest that you scale the silence down a little, or it'll be too good.

Is there any way to break the Soul Bond other than killing Artisan? Does the target break the bond when he is too far from Artisan? Tell me please :3.

Other than some imbalances, I can the all the skill combinations that this hero can utilize, and I like it :D.

Well, that's all I can say for now.
