I suggest playing bots. that might sound weird, but if you want to have fun and don't want someone on your team to lose the game for you, set the bot difficulty high and have fun! Bots won't swear, etc. too.

But playing with bots is a bit lonely.
When you win, you can't share the glory with anyone.

If the carry is having a hard time then you as the support should lead him to a better way (if he can't farm right, then stack some camps or grab an enemy he can kill). I know that you already got the basics of supporting down, but experiencing those tough times may help you learn more for the future games.

If you and your teammates are too serious and frustrated in a game, you surely won't win with that attitude. Also, you still have a long way to go though, a hundred games filled with frustration won't compare to a game won by having fun.
There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity, I have come to erase that fine line.

Still a bit wonky and nooby but meh, give me a challenge and I'll accept it!

Not quite sure if you were the decisive factor there, but nicely done.

Back to the topic : Earth Spirit best spirit. And one of the best #4 in the entire game, just because he is so versatile, and he can gank really well early and late game.

@JasChe_XXVI

You can always screenshot, I guess.
Or create a lobby, and play 1v1 and fill the rest with bots.

I agree that supporting can be very frustrating, if your team doesnt use what you give them. Also playing with a ganking duo can be fantastic, but what I have learned (i play support in solo MM) is that counterpicking always beats preset duos. Like a Dazzle against their lc, Jakiro if they have void. It doesnt always work but if it does it can be fantastic.

The next thing is not to be angry or disappointed in your allies. those are the people that are in your MMR range (they might vary like hell but still...) I have had many great games with strong teammates (but one always remembers the bad ones :) ).

Another mistake that I do is that I think "this carry is bad, I better go do something else", or "Ill get the arcane boots first. Then buy wards for us". You should focus on the Team you have and if your carry sucks then give him hints (if he responds russian you can let a single tear fall) and help him.

I have been playing Dota 2 for ~160 games, and have come to the conclusion that no matter how good I am at support, if my team are potatoes, I am ****ed. If I play carry (Which I don't, I main support) I might have a chance if my team doesn't feed. But if I play support, I can't help my team mates except for stunning. Which they take as me trying to kill them. So they attack the full health carry. When they are below 10%. If anyone knows any way to win reliably as support, please tell me.

Have you played as Lina before? She's a pretty reliable support and can be semi-carry too, so If your team is sucking feel free to change item builds!
