Gotta master them all, DotAmon!
You win, or you die. Don't make it easy.

I can play all but a few heroes decently, but I have a handful that I simply play at my best at.
My personal favorite is Rubick, but I play a mean Dragon Knight and Timbersaw.

How to play Dragon Knight, Spam Fire Breath and auto heal with dragon blood in mid = AUTO WIN!

Behind every hero there is a tactic. This tactic doesn't have anything to do with skills / mastering. It is more a knowledge about the mechanics of Dota2. To explain it i got as example Zeus! People use Zeus his ulti to kill people who run with low HP after a teamfight back to base. But if you use the skill in the beginning of a (team)fight you increase the change of winning/killing more then when you finish people after a (team)fight. The reason is all about teamspirit. When you start a fight and directly after this point your whole team have more HP then the other team witch increase the moral of your team. And this directly decrease the confidence of the other team.

So if you can play 15 matches with zeus and ownage without playing like this. You still can't handle zeus properly.

Ofcourse on the other hand there is a skill part at some hero's. In a previous post Sando made a list of hero's who need experiance or (micro)skills. I would like to see Shadow Fiend in that list since his first skill is (in my opinion) hard to handle correctly.

its not like dragon knight is a low skill cap hero, he just doesnt lose mid, but its harder to really win the lane.

Be like Admiral Ratdog, go to TI3 and play 3 heroes whole event (HL 3 confirmed?).
"When game is going full ******, you can only go with it. If you start going against it, if you start going half ******, you´re ****ing done for. When Aloha decides to go middle rubick you let him, and you start buying orb of venom on invoker. That's how dota works" -n0tail

True, do you think he would have hard time against say sniper in mid?

i would say that dragon knight is one of the mids that he can beat, since he loses to most others, but if DK can get agressive and burn a lot of his health sniper can get in real trouble.

But to truly be great at a hero takes more than that. To really master a hero you have to know exactly what to do in almost every conceivable scenario. When to press when to back off. Items that compliment the hero is also such an important part of mastering any of them.
