Hello. I just wanted to ask if (solo)ranked matches are worth it in regards to improvement in player knowledge/ skill/ attitude. I play mainly as support/ initiator with friends and have GG's in pubs, but when I play alone I am baffled by some of the character picks for my team (or am I mistaken for thinking that the majority of the games I lose is because my "team" has only 4 hard carries, instead of 5...>_>) Is it the same in ranked matches or are people more open to playing a game based on fun, positive communication and teamwork <3 TY

You'll run into a few like-minded constructive people in Ranked, but no more than you would in Un-ranked, and definitely much less than Carry Pickers who swear at whoever is dying the most in their Team. My suggestion would be to only play Ranked with friends who you trust can back you up in a Teamfight (especially as an Initiator).
