Lore: In the beginning there was darkness, then suddenly from the void and shadow a faint light appeared. The darkness had never seen such an entity and was quite curious of it. At first the entity was inert, and all it did was radiate a faint energy from its form. The darkness grew accustomed to its existence, and after a time it was simply forgotten. And at this time the light knew its time was nigh. As the darkness turned its gaze away, from the entity came a blast of energy so powerful it banished the shadows to the farthest corners of the universe.

The darkness fled from the small being that had laid waste to his domain. When he looked to see how such an entity could have caused such destruction all he could see was a massive radiation of light and at its center a creature he had never seen nor ever imagined in all his manifestations throughout the dimensional planes. At the center a being of unknown but massive power took the throne of this dimension. The darkness spoke “can such a being exist that can banish the very darkness from its domain.” The creature responded “He does, he is Arcturus, and he is the light.”

Q: Energy Void: Summons a field from the nebular materials of the universe for a short time. A percentage of all damage dealt to Arcturus while under Energy Void’s Effects is added to your physical damage for a short time as well as increasing your attack speed.
Mana Cost: 90
Cooldown: 30
Duration: 3/4/5/6
Percentage of Damage added: 10%/15%/25%/30%
Attack Speed per damage instance: 4/5/6/7
Duration of Damage Buff: 25 seconds
After millennia of conflict with the darkness as well tinkering with reality itself, Arcturus has evolved a way to use hostile energy for his benefit.

W: Flash Zero: Arcturus concentrates his power on a being that burns off all positive buffs and also slows movement speed for a short time.
Mana Cost: 80
Cooldown: 35/28/21/14
Duration: 4
Movement Slow: 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%
Those who oppose Arcturus tend to have their very life force burned away.

Passive: Magnetar Barrier: Arcturus’s radiance emanates an aura that increases armor for allies and decreases armor for enemies in a 900 AOE.
Radius: 900
Ally Armor Aura Buff/Enemy armor aura debuff: 2/3/4/5
The radiation that emanates from Arcturus has led to some interesting effects on his friends and enemies alike.

R. Hadron Flare: Arcturus alters the physical properties around him stunning everything in an AOE around him as well as dealing massive damage.
Mana Cost: 200
Cooldown: 140/130/120
Radius: 600
Stun Duration: 2.5/3/3.5
Damage: 250/350/450
The skill Arcturus used to give himself life is now used to deal death onto all those who would oppose him.

Hero Responses

Starting: “Born of the Light”

Game Begins: “My emanation will bring to light the unworthy”

Moving: “As I will.” “My vector changes.” “I emanate.”

Attacking: “None shall escape”, “Light find you”

Killing an Enemy: “If even the darkness flees from me, what hope did you think you had.” “You
were born from a star, now die from one.”

Dying: “Out..of…Fuel”

Killing a Rival:

(Keeper of the Light) You are no keeper of me Ezalor.

(Lina) Even you go up in flames, Lina.

(Enigma) Not a constant any longer.

(Elder Titan) Creator of worlds? That’s cute.

(Weaver) Hardly worth the honor of your duty weaver.

(Pheonix) Pheonix, why would you stand against me?

(Io) Speechless wisp? I am flattered.

This is my first hero idea so any comments, questions, or concerns would be highly appreciated. Thanks Yall

So this feels like giving Huskar a Ravage. I think it might be a bit(ok a lot) OP, mainly the Q spell.
I got to Notable, Thanks!

Which part of the Q spell did you think was overpowered? The attack speed buff or the damage increase, or both? Because I was wondering about that as well.

I think both might be a bit too high, I don't really know how to fix it but it definitely needs to be reworked a bit I believe.

Oh yeah, I wasn't expecting it to be perfect right off the bat. When I was coming up with the concept for the Q ability I was wondering if it should just be a flat attack speed increase or a attack speed increase per damage instance. After looking it over again I think I might just make a flat attack speed increase.

Maybe for Flash Zero I could increase the mana cost and decrease the slow slightly and that may make it more balanced.

Magnetar Barrier is fine in my opinion.

Hadron Flare was actually intended to be kind of like Ravage with a decreased radius, increased stun duration, and higher mana cost at level one. I might change the cooldown and mana cost slightly later on.
