All I see are texts and texts. You should learn the BBCode of this forum to make a more detailed guide, plus try to use more images to demonstrate your points of view (maybe from your own game or other players' game) then that would help people who read your guide even more, and I also on the same boat with all of the guys above commenting as well. Vanguard is not that good for ranged heroes, getting Mekansm is way way better. That's all I can say to you! Learn a bit more and I'm sure your guides will be way better than this "Wall of text" ;) :D

Thanks for the info, but I am a noob at this as this is the first time I have made a guide, so yeah, I have no idea how to add pictures and stuff like that. ;(

How can you have Sange and Yasha in your 'Core Items' as well as Manta Style when the movespeed does not stack? Doesnt really make sense to me.

Hey guys! When I first started Dota 2, my first ever hero I played was with Viper. My friend told me that I should try him out. I was able to make this guide because there were so many guides on this website telling me to get some of the items. After looking at quite a few guides, I can to the conclusion of these items. Still, thanks for all the comments!

Sorry but down voted...the wall of text makes for a hard read. Also as people above have mentioned there are so some pretty poor item choices.

Hey guys, thanks for the tips, but like I've already said, I have experimented with all of these items and they seem to be working fine and making Viper awesome. But hey, people think different things!

That's great that you have won with those items, but you are making the assumption that because you won that it must have something to do with your items. There are a lot of other factors at work in a match. The people above said those things not out of opinion or personal experience but from tested application in game by professionals and on paper by theory crafters. Sorry dude but your personal experience doesn't hold much weight.

Vanguard is a bad choice on any ranged hero. You'd be better off with a Mekansm.

Sange and Yasha is a not good either. Yasha into Manta Style would be better imo.

Finally, you can't use Shadow Blade to escape unless you are playing low level games. Any decent player will carry dust as soon as they see you have a SB.
