So I have a technical question. As far as I understand, Gyrocopter's Flak Cannon allows him to steal life from all targets hit, thus why Satanic is so powerful on him. Am I right in this assumption? According to what I've seen on the Dota 2 Wiki it implies that only the first attack will steal life, so why does it work so well?

Also, Satanic is a great item on Luna too, based on how often it is built, and its on so many builds, but if I read the skill correctly, Moon Glaive doesn't steal life beyond the first hit, so why is this so effect in teamfights (because really, it is. ;/). Is it only because she has such a high damage with her passive?

Gyro only steals life with the original hit( no flak cannon stuff)

With Luna on the other hand is a different thing. She needs the HP, and the lifesteal is good because she attacks fast and let's not forget why Satanic is bought in the first place, it's for that active that gives you 175% lifesteal.

I guess. That's why it works well on Gyro too I guess. He attacks pretty fast late-game. Cool thanks.

Generally Luna and Gyrocopter like to go Helm of the Dominator for ancient stacking, and after acquiring enough damage items, Satanic is a natural progression for a survivability item

Afaik only the prime target grants the life steal.

Getting satanic in general is less of a attackspeed issue imo (there are faster hitting heroes, on which satanic isnt core after all). The main reason that especially luna and gyro are building satanic is for its splendid survivability utility, which both need, since they have no build in escape/sustain mechanism and have to be right in the middle of the enemy team to unleash hell (also both of their attack ranges are <400). With Eclipse or Rocket Barrage you need to be fairly close to the enemy and Satanic keeps you alive after all your spells are on cooldown.

That's true, never thought about that. The short range forces close encounters, for which Satanic helps. Thanks.
