I know that blade mail does not damage heroes under the effects of magic immunity... However, does magic resistance decrease the amount of reflected damage you take? For example, would having a hood make you take less damage from attacking blade mail?

Nope, Blade Mail returns pure damage, which isn't reduced by either armour or magic resistance. However, it doesn't go through magic immunity - so it's an all or nothing deal. Hood of Defiance wouldn't do anything, Black King Bar active would block it completely.

Additional question : does Undying ultimate Flesh Golem amplify the returned damage of active Blade Mail ? I am new to using Undying and in the few games played already he gets focused on hard in ult mode, so i am thinking Blade Mail would be a decent choice.

I don't know if it still works but before when undying used his ultimate he would grow over the spikes and hide them from the opponents.
My lone druid starting items are 12 Iron wood branches, 6 for the hero and 6 for the bear. Even if the bear does not get stats more twigs are OP on any hero.
