In very rare situations where your team is losing and you need to do something to win fights, getting
Yet it's interesting to see none of the alternative builds mention desolator which trainwrecks enemies in 3 successive shots.
IMO, for the early stages of the game MoM is a very viable choice, but it should be transtioned into desolator+hyperstone if the game prolongs to late/superlate game combats.
Also, I'd suggest getting Drums after Orchid, because that's more of a complimentary item than anything. Your Orchid should be rushed, since you need it as soon as possible. Like, right after whatever boots you get. If you really need damage, I would suggest getting a Wrath Band or even building it into Aquila if you REALLY need mana.
And because we're taking Take Aim first, Tranquil Boots are unnecessary as you shouldn't be taking damage. If you are. Say, in a lane with some long range harass, like Shadow Demon, then by all means get them. But otherwise, he should be safe now. Sniper's early game should be played cautiously and with his Caster build even more so.
Also, I wondered if Ethereal Blade would be any good for this build, and I thought that maybe it would be but only in conjunction with some kind of positioning item.
Maybe consider adding in some means for escape such as Force Staff. It would be quite helpful for this build, as it's largely utility with a mix of autoattack damage.
on the lane has you can punch but cant be punched
Your call. There might be a very legit time like vs. QoP where she's going to blink on you anyway (nullifying take aim), but the extra damage from headshot is very damaging to her early game. Guides are suggestions not orders.
