Hello.

My name is Groov. I'm a caster from Dotabeyond, and currently working with Netolic and Mineski. My roles is ulitily and carry. My lanes are usually mid or tri. I've been playing DotA for 10 years now. I have recently come into some extra time, and I would love to give back to the community by teaching new (or even experienced) players about Invoker. I will teach from the combo such as eul + sunstrike timings to the mindblowing hardcore refresher invoker.

As far as experience,I have played more than 300 invoker games.(not including dota 1) I have played with some proffesional players and im not in the lower bracket. Some players include Winter, Godz, Mushi, Hexor. By no means do I win often against such proffesional players, but if we do lose, we dont get stomped and i have grimorum in my contact due to that i gotten alot of invoker guides from him.

As far as communication or methods of teaching, I'm not really sure what is best. . I've taught friends to play, but they take DotA very casually, and I'm sure anyone who applies will want to increase their invoker skill as much as possible in the shortest period of time. I will make up a lobby for you and i will teach you what u need.

Whatever you'd like, feel free to add me on Skype. I normally use Skype with friends, but I can also use Raidcall. I prefer Skype though.

Finally, here is my Steam and Skype account. Please add me on skype first or just reply to this tread, and wait for me to reply first before adding me on steam. (i will ignore random friend request)

One thing I do ask though, is that you post any feedback you have for me in this thread: If I helped improve your skill, and to what degree. I think that if people see that I am as good of a player as I claim, I will get more responses, which increases my popularity, allowing me to help you more. :D

Thanks for reading my incredibly long post, and I look forward to helping you,

- Groov

Great experience getting help from Groov for invoker coaching. I would recommend him to anyone interested in becoming proficient at playing invoker and stumping pubs. Great friendly guy overall, Give him a try :D

This guy is a genius. No other words do him justice. Before having a lesson from him I could never even really pull off a full combo properly, but after an hour of coaching I can now land even the most complex noscope 420 invokerskillz refresher orb combos, and I feel a lot better about my laning phase setup now. Thanks a lot Groov, you make a badass teacher.

He thought me a lot about how to build up invoker so you can come into mid game as soon as possible. How to try and play with an opponents mind in the mid and how and when to harass them, I rarely played mid before starting out with invoker so this helped me out a lot!

I am fairly sure on my combos since before, but the small details he showed will help me out a lot!

As a mentor he was really kind and understanding. but most of all! He gave me a hunger to play a lot more invoker! So with this said, i will jump into a game and see if i can own some noobs!

Thanks once again, Groov you're the man!

Very good teacher, covered how to combo in the early mid and late game.
If done correctly, should be able to dominate as an invoker

Thanks for the session. Good advice all around. I had already played a lot of invoker and knew most of the basics, but he has some good insights.

Very smart Invoker player. Unless you are a pro he will have something interesting to tell you.

Polite and nice guy who went through laning, item choices, specific match-ups, mind games and of course the spell combos. Very thorough explanation that left me a whole lot better at invoking.

More than being a great invoker player I feel he's good at the small things of dota 2 that most players forget about like mind games during laning etc. Everyone should learn a bit from him.
