As long as enemies don't ward or you're facing Kyfoid you can pretty easily gank and get some kills. You just need to practice hooking and then using ultimate fast enough to not let enemy escape.

Treant Protector is in my opinion an early game support hero but can carry later on (with the right ganks ofcourse)
