Well lets consider that 2 of these heroes are usually picked up as a counter to some heroes. AA is a good counter to heroes like lifestealer or any hero who mains lifesteal in their dps build. AA ult, which when landed appropriately can devestate team fights simply by negating all healing and lifestealing effects. In a way he is anti carry and anti support, just not on his own. He COULD see more competative play. And he is pretty strong in a tri lane.

Dazzle is pretty good, perhaps he doesn't get picked because teams are overconfident or they feel they can play without the need for his excellent supporting skills. Personally I would rather have a dazzle on my team then a cm, Sure mana is great early game but it falls off in my op late and the shallow grave can severely hamper a team fight, especially when they are good at focusing.

Lich, well his frost armor is pretty big, and with certain heroes he can combo well, not to mention free denies which is probably his best thing for early game... But he really only fits a certain team, probably best comboed with void cronosphere and a veil of discord. Pretty devestating.

Underpowered,No.Seeing less play because of the current meta-Yes.The older meta, the gank heavy one, presumed playing some interesting lanes, for example Lion or Lich being mid.People tend to just underestimate certain heroes.

For example,I once played a mid Lich game versus a Shadow Fiend(quite recent,can't remember exactly).His farming-completely hampered,his souls,not even existent,he couldn't even get close to creeps.

While he lacks in certain aspects of lane control,he fulfills the rest really well.Harassing is the name of the game while playing Lich.sacrifice, Frost Blast, rinse and repeat.

guys seriously: underpowered =/= underrated!

underpowered heroes:
- their spells scale poorly and / or do overall little damage (or healing).
- are item dependent --> usually are completely useless before having 1 or 2 main items (like Medusa)
- have a skillkit, which doesnt contribute anything to teamfights (poor CCs, aoe dmg ...etc.)

underrated heroes:
- simply get outclassed by other heroes of the same role --> i, for my part, would always prefer a Shadow Demon over an Ancient Apparition, though this doesnt mean that AA is bad: its simply "SD > AA"

Treant is a great support and LA is awesome for the building heals. He also is sporting a 54.59% win rate. Which is higher then Nyx.

Whisp stronk in solo lane aswell so spammable, crystal maiden maybe but i spirit breaker is just a snowballer i would say most nerfed is either Lycanthrope, Morpling or Treant. Treant is good with a skilled player like 4/5 or above but with a 3/5 or below his a complete waste.

Okay... if I read your post right (I doubt I did though) you're saying that Io, Crystal Maiden and Spirit Breaker are underrated and the 3 you mentioned are the ones most nerfed. And you mention that Io is powerful in a solo lane, Spirit Breaker is a snowballer, and that Treant Protector needs a high skill level to be effective.

Hm.

I agree with Treant being heavily nerfed. SB being a snowballer is true, Lycan isn't the imba jungler he was before, Morph isn't as good as he was in TI2, yes.

But Io really isn't underrated (at least between the competitive scene and decent players), CM used to be the best support around but she doesn't fit with the meta. (she does have an underrated ult though)

IMO the underrated heroes for now are Kunkka, OD and Silencer.

I face palm every time someone on my team randoms Ancient Apparition or Lershac. I've at least seen AA played well and matches won with him. But Lershac is just instant food for the other team. Lershac worst hero.

I take personal offence to this statement.

I find that shadow shaman is amazingly strong but requires communication with your team. He has 3 disables all of which allow him to be a useful support far into the late game when the enemy carry might usually be able to kill you with ease. He can also sometimes pick up solo kills on lone heroes if he uses his wards correctly.
