What heroes received a nerf and why? I recently saw that treant was nerfed but I don't know specifically what was nerfed. I also heard that Lycan was nerfed; so my question is what heroes have been nerfed.

Bonus question: Who do you think should be nerfed?

That's kinda an odd question to ask... A lot of nerfs are being made constantly (here's your why->) either to equalize the playing field, fix bugs, or even change the meta. About a year ago Anti-Mage and Morphling were the shiz, then they were nerfed. Then about couple months ago Lycanthrope became everybody's bff, then he was nerfed. Then Undying became the "incredible hulk" support for a bit, then he was nerfed. There are a lot more nerfed heroes that happened as well, but those are some of the notable ones. You just have to keep tabs on the dota updates and see what changes (ie buffs/nerfs) were made to the heroes.

I think Luna, Nature's Prophet, or Phantom Lancer could use a nerf.

Lots of people saying Huskar was nerfed and is now useless. I personally don't play him but the last patch seemed to upset a lot of Huskar players, at least on some other forums.

I realize I will get a lot of people crying over it, but I think that Drow Ranger needs to be changed. Not nerfed necessarily, but changed in such a way so that she isn't so easy to play own with. Because, frankly, you only need one guy that feeds her twice, and she starts to become very hard to counter if you didn't pick the right heroes. So yes, she is counter-able. But I feel that the silence she has comboed with 80% slow is a bit of a overkill for a high DPS passive ability hero.

I totally agree.

Yeah one or the other, both disables is quite overkill.

I don't completely. She's one of those that own new/uncareful players along with Riki and Ursa. Drow just needs a bit of extra carefulness, team movement, and good warding.

I remember someone saying that Dota is built for competitive play; if something is OP in pubs but balanced in pro games, then it is balanced. Drow was rarely picked in pro games before her rebalance, and the changes to her ult and e probably will not make her that much more viable in the pro scene.

TLDR: Drow Ranger is not OP in pro games, and pubs don't matter, so she will not be nerfed

Hm, maybe you are right. I guess if you play well, she isn't really a threat. Its just annoying when fellow team mates in a Matchmaking game feeds her making it impossible for others to do anything when she's farmed too well. =P
So yes, no nerf then. She is easier than some of the other carries to farm heroes with though. I mean, sure, a Bloodseeker or Anti-Mage can become monsters when fed too. But, Drow has it a lot easier.

TL;DR : Maybe she doesn't need a nerf, people just need to counter her better in public games.

Agreed. What is considered balanced or broken in dota is always determined in competitive play.

Also, there is a difference between something being broken and having an obstacle which teams need to learn how to deal with. Once a team develops a strategy to deal with the hero it usually can be surmounted. I believe Tobiwan and Puppy had a conversation concerning this subject in which they related the Phantom Lancer of today with the Anti-Mage of a year ago.
