I recently started captains mode through team matchmaking, I was wondering if anyone here had any tips on picking heroes during captains mode. I've been having some trouble with it. Any and all help would be appreciated. Also my team is looking for a fifth.

Heres how I see captains.
Bans-anyone u think is op (mag, batrider...)
first pick and/or second your supports. This means they dont know what your plan is and counter pick your carry. Third pick would be the semi carry or mid hero. Then the fourth or fifth pick is your hard carry. This gives them less of a chance to counter pick it. If you want help with picking look at the pro games.

With bans, make sure to look at what they are picking and banning and putting your self in the other teams shoes. What will they be picking later? Then ban those heros. Hope I covered it.

Nice explanation, helped me out also.

I'd add that when your picking, make sure you pick so that they have less time to think. For example when your picking two heroes together pick them both at the same time instead of picking the first then thinking for a little while about the second. Doing this means that they don't have time to think about countering your first hero while your still thinking about your second. Hope I wrote this in a way you can understand...

This Dota Fire guild by Pro Ninja Moves taught me every thing I know about leading a team

My lone druid starting items are 12 Iron wood branches, 6 for the hero and 6 for the bear. Even if the bear does not get stats more twigs are OP on any hero.
