Kyfoid, please look at that. That is DK.Burning's match history with Clinkz. He isn't building Drums or Mask of Madness, they all follow pretty much the same build with a little bit of variance. Clinkz isn't a weak hero. It's how you play him that makes the difference.

Kyfoid, do you not understand why there are three primary attributes? All heros gain from str, agi, and int. The only change between them is your base attack goes up the more of your primary attribute is.

If your build means so much to you why are you posting it hear? Attacking an entire community kind of seems like a waste of time...
My lone druid starting items are 12 Iron wood branches, 6 for the hero and 6 for the bear. Even if the bear does not get stats more twigs are OP on any hero.

Nubtrain, your failure to acknowledge well made points is plain. You are not open minded one single bit and this sort of igorance needs to stop on forums, otherwise, none of us will progress our understanding of what clearly are controversial issues. My advice is to stop ruining it for the rest of us because if people understood and played the game properly we might actually give meaningful feedback on these games to better the future.

If he was 'igorant' and didn't give meaningful feedback, he wouldn't be a Veteran.

Just look up the most popular Clinkz build, test his build, then compare his effectiveness versus your build. If you still don't deem the build and playstyle to be appropriate, you can make your own.

Actually, if there would be a build that was even proper for playing to Clinkz to his supposed greatest strength as a glass cannon, it would consist of a much different approach as the veterans and community propose here. I still firmly believe with out a doubt that my starting approach and concept is superior as you can't kill unless you live in the first place and be of viable support to the team early on.

Clinkz is an agility hero with an attack speed skill. This clearly means that attack speed is the name of his game. The critical point of understanding lies not in how powerful his attack speed is alone, but in how it makes other things more powerful, and if you understand what those things are, you can begin to harnace the true potential of clinkz' power.

With that said, it comes down to the prime question and the answers...

-What are agility + strafe enhancing?

and the answers are...

-Searing arrow
-Pierce (Jav)
-Critical Hit Chance
-Shock damage from the Maelstrom to Mjollnir

If I was trying to be the best clinkz, I would probably strive to max out those four things asap starting with Javs in to crystalis, in to maelstrom and then later monkey king bar. Just a dead rush...

Hopefully the + 40 damage chance on pierce actually makes sense and is not being reduced by armor.

With that said, I would still take the extremely safe route at the start, in to this extreme glass cannon route afterwards, and the mask of madness can still even be used, and I'd still rather be stealing life between the 120-160 shock damage rather then doing that lame 50 fire damage from searing arrow. This saves 3 skill points for stats which are just simply more useful.

At the end, clinkz is better with this approach, going from one extreme direction to the other, not this lame division of power via Orchid that makes him weak. Just the wrong approach regardless of what controversial evidence is provided.

Lol, ok this is were I interject. No matter what game you play, you don't build on your weakness, you build to accentuate your strengths. If you already have innate attack speed, then you build attack damage its common sense. If you Have already high health, then you build resistances.
You're delusional, and how you fundamentally approach any sort of strategy is flawed. An example of this would be is your enemy is fully offensive your personal approach would be to counter with balance, when the actual answer would be to go either full offence back or go full defense.

Before you come on here, troll the whole forum, the competitive scene, and all fans of ARTS games, maybe you should do a little bit more research, because your ignorance is too identifiable. Don't bother with a response, I will not acknowledge it. You've already proven to be a bad debater, and your argument is is the least bit amusing and has the weakest defense I've seen since trolling became known to the internet.

You were being hypothetical, that wasn't the argument you were making...your argument is your supposed superior build.

You simply read nothing.
