The Reason why Druid is a Solo Laner

Maybe the reason why Druid is virtually nothing but a pure carry is because Valve wants the hero to be both alone and boring. Maybe boring is a flavor to them, or just how they assert the identity of the hero.

If we can't get a spirit of the barbs innate ability that does damage return on the bear because it would be too much like diablo...

Then why can't we at least get a second bear charge in the same way that midas now builds up a second charge? You'd still have to pay the same many price of course.

Now you know that I'm right about this one...

You know, they could make it so that when druid dies outside of bear form that the bear doesn't die. And then once you get scepter then the bear stays alive even when dying in bear form.

That way he dies as a lone druid, and as a bear he doesn't die alone...

might want to get the concept of lone druid right.

It should be noted as well that the shared armor of spirit link actually works for items but the shared lifesteal does not work for items as well.

Anyone can test this when demoing a hero.

just put platemails on Druid and watch the bears armor go up. On the other hand, throw a Satanic on the bear once you have max level spirit link, cast satanic, and you won't even see a difference in the life steal for Druid. Only the +25 damage from satanic is enhancing the life steal at most, not even the morbid mask's base life steal makes a difference.
