Orb of venom against Templar Assassin?

historically did nothing against . Refraction didn't trigger on instances below 5 damage so OOV, with its 3 damage, didn't trigger it.

However, OOV has been buffed to 5 damage per second recently.

So, does it mean it cancels refraction now?

Tested it out in the demo mode. Apparently, despite now dealing 5 damage per second, it still does not go through . I guess that means isn't a hard counter to :(

The reason that it doesn't go through Refraction is pretty simple, the damage from Orb of Venom is magical damage, and every hero starts with 25% resistance to it, so it kinda removes 1,25 damage from it, making it less than 5 damage, explains also why when you take a hit by someone who has Orb of Venom you get 3 damage per second, not 5.
