Hello all!
My IGN is Hawkis and I started playing Dota in December 2016. I fell in love with the game at first sight and I have spent many hours in front of my computer trying to get some skills. I do, however have one tiny little problem. I played lots of matches against BOTs at first, I then moved to playing several normal games. In spite of that I have come to realize that I started playing ranked way too early and my MMR calibration ended up in the very low trenches. Now I find myself stuck there without any chance of picking up. Is there some way to get a second chance of a recalibration? I have spent a few dollars on my account and I have some nice hero sets and stuff that I do not want to lose (by creating a new Steam account).

Any word of advice would be awesome. Thanks! //Hawkis

You can give items from one account to another. Look whether your items are shareable or not.
Strategy guide : Anti-pubstomper guide.
Hero guides : Spectre , Windranger and Clinkz

Unfortunately you cannot freely share items between accounts, your new Steam account can't even add friends if you don't spend some money on it. At least that was the case some months ago, I also had a poor smurf to attempt calibrating (in my case I didn't even calibrate but stopped in the middle of it just after starting playing, so it is also in the trenches compared to my non-ranked games). I abandoned the attempt at some point for lack of time, now with the new phone number limit wouldn't work either way. I know of no other way around these limits, sorry :(
