Well, just in case I have any sentient robots answering this and feeling annoyed at lack of representation, I don't want them going Terminator on me!

And thanks!

Michi it's considered being politically correct and it's also very crucial to not make any people feel unwelcome to the survey :p

I don't have problems with agenders, transgenders or genderfluids, so why not include them =^)

Yep. Pretty much this.

As for test chambers, I don't think I have enough money to found Aperture Science just yet...

In case anyone was interested in some of the results so far (I've just begun digging into the data), so far, I have 881 total responses, with 372 people providing emails for phase 2 of the study - a little higher than the 50% attrition rate I was expecting.

Here's a little data to whet the appetite, just demographics for now:

According to the survey, the vast majority of DOTA2 players are between 15-36, with the very oldest being 91.

As with other demographic studies done for DOTA2, 3% of the player population reports as female, with 96% male and 1% other.

About half the player population in this sample has a MMR of over 3200 - putting them above the 90th percentile of skill according to Valve. These results are in line with a previous analysis of OpenDota player profiles, suggesting that people who respond to these things / make their profiles public tend to have higher MMR.

Top 3 most popular games within DOTA 2 community: Overwatch, WoW, CS:GO

Still taking responses till the end of the week: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/37NDMBP
