Hi, I'm completely new to DotA 2, I've never played DotA 1, generally I'm new to the MOBA genre. I just began playing two weeks ago, and since I'm bit busy I only play for like 1 to 1.5 hours every three days or so. and I was hoping to find a good mentor to give me advice on how to play DotA 2, and on a more specific note I really want to learn Luna... the help is greatly appreciated.

Hey bbJAGZ!

Welcome to dotafire!

Here, we are all your mentors, as well as your friends. Feel free to ask us anything, and we'll try to get back to you with answers (if there are answers :D).

For coaching, however, see the "New Player Help" section of our forum. I believe AngeloBangelo is available to help.

Cheers,
Sofa

Angelo coaches support mostly, if you want a carry coach I think smuggels is a better bet, although he's quite busy with his team nowadays. I could do some beginner coaching too, if you're a new player I think any of us here can teach you a ton. I just need to know when you play.

Oh and I suggest you watch a few of purge's content, particularly his beginner guide. It's ver useful

I don't know if he does coaching, but Dimony is a hardcore Luna player and is worth prying for knowledge. If he's not up for it, I also play a fair bit of Luna but would probably get sidetracked by cancelling her obnoxious attack backswing and considerable ranting about why you shouldn't skill anything at level 4. Still, I'm willing to help.

I offered my help because I love Luna, she was the first hero I fell for, and started spamming before the 100+ riki games which I am embarrassed to call myself human afterwards. Yeah I don't skill anything at 4, and get max glaves at 10. Pretty standard Luna tbh, it's not rare at all
