Frampt the Jockey



Introduction


Jockey is a melee strength hero most unique with his ability to use both ranged and melee attacks simultaneously with his skill, Dual Terror. Astonish staggers his enemies, rendering them unable to attack. Running may also not be an option, as Black Rain calls forth a deadly rain which burns away armor and gives vision of the area, perfect for scouting. His ultimate, Karma, activates a deadly armor which returns damage to those who attack him and disarms them, making it risky to attack him. His abilities gives him the ability to leave enemies helpless leaving only the option to run. However, even that is temporary.
(To avoid confusion, the Jockey refers to the rider, the spider refers to the mount)

[Q] Dual Terror (Toggle, Physical)
The Jockey and his spider mount works in a lethal duo, where the jockey rains enemies with arrows at ranged while the spider feasts on his enemies at melee. When toggled, the Jockey can shoot arrows while the spider moves, but the spider stops when using a melee attack. Damage is also split between them.

Ranged Damage: 40%/45%/50%/55%
Melee Damage: 50%/60%/70%/80%
Jockey attack range: 525
Spider attack range: 145

[W] Astonish (Mana Cost:130/120/110/100, Cooldown:18, Magical, No Target)
The spider's frightening demeanor staggers nearby enemies, rendering them disarmed for a duration. If enemies face the jockey during cast, they are disarmed for an extra duration and mini-stunned.

Stagger radius: 450
Disarm base duration: 2
Disarm bonus duration: 0.5/1/1.5/2
Mini-stun duration: 0.25

[E] Black Rain (Mana Cost:95/105/115/125, Cooldown:10, Magical, Target Area)
The Jockey calls forth the darkest reaches of hell from the sky to terrorize the target area, burning away the armor of enemies in it as well as gaining vision over the area. The longer they stay in the rain, the more their armor is burnt.

Cast Range: 750
Rain Radius: 245
Rain Duration: 7
Armor burn per second: 1/2/3/4
Debuff Duration: 10
Maximum armor burnt: 12

[R] Karma (Mana Cost:260, Cooldown:120/100/80, Pure, No Target)
The Jockey's hellish spider unleashes its demonic armor which returns 100% of damage taken and reduces damage taken by 20%. It also disarms any enemy who dares attack it for a duration. Enemies can be disarmed multiple times. The return damage pierces spell immunity, the disarm does not

Armor Duration: 5/6.5/8
Damage Reduction: 20%
Damage Return: 70%
Disarm Duration: 2

*Aghanim's sceptre gives him a 35% chance to release the current level of Astonish when attacked during Karma.

I like the idea of your ultimate and Astonish. But it's very OP in my opinion.
The Ultstick upgrade is a bit too powerful. I think that maybe 20% or something is better.

Astonish needs to be nerfed. A 5 seconds disarm to multiple enemies is VERY powerful. You can just blink into the middle of a fight and disarm every enemy for 5 sec.


Karma is a bit like a really powerful blademail. I think that 100% damage return is too much. How about having it start at 60% return and scaling up to 90%? And maybe 1 second shorter duration at al levels.

Everything else is good except for the rain.
I mean like... It's a very strong weave in a smaller radius.

Thanks for the feedback! Looking back, I do think astonish does seem a little bit like an ultimate... ehehe... The rain debuff only accumulates if they stay in it, but I think I can add a limit to armor burnt. And for karma, I think reducing the damage return is a fine idea, since the only concept into it is to avoid people attacking him.

Another idea: How about ultstick (Aghanim's Scepter) increases the maximum armor burnt? Currently is 12 armor but with ultstick it maybe could be increased to 16.

And i'm trying to think up a lore idea right now.
