Could you perhaps bring back Lvl? Death and just make the percent damage scale up with level?

Like 5/10/15/20% ?

And even re-add the level thing if you want, but make its cooldown a little lower, you had it like 7 seconds before you removed it right? that sounds good, 7 deadly sins and all that =D

Please though, he REALLY needs this and hes just not the same without it, Infernal blade is either buggy and doesn't connect, they have evasion, its just slow and weak compared to a lot of other damage and its got no range.

Doom really needs the range of it, and its good and better base damage, please bring it back.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but this ain't a DOTA 2 dev site. Instead, we're a quite friendly Dota 2 community that likes to chit-chat and go about Dota in general. So, first of all, welcome to the community!

I personally didn't like LVL?Death, Infernal blade is much more better thanks to the DoT damage that comes for it, paired with Doom and Scorched earth he can solo kill anyone at level 6.

But the full dot damage is less than level death without the 20% =/

Yes, but it only proc'd on certain level multipliers. Infernal Blade also has a base dot damage.

The level multiplier gimmick from lvl? death was pretty silly, so it's normal that it got removed. Also, visibly Icefrog wanted to nerf Doom by removing his only way to pop Linken's Sphere. So he came up with this skill.

Infernal Blade is actually pretty high damage because it's 160 base, so good early burst. It also has a 4 second cooldown instead of 7 seconds so the DPS is 75% higher than the DPS of the old lvl? death, because he can (and will) chain two in a row on the same hero. Actually from a pure damage standpoint the new skill is much better.

Only issue is that when you factor in the fact that Doom is now hard countered by Linkens, his +25 second cooldown nerf on his ult (that's really massive) AND his BAT nerf...plus some obligatory Scorched Earth nerfs...he was kind of nerfed to unplayable level.

Point is, the skill design is fine, it's just, Doom feels like he got overnerfed. It feels that either the hero is overpowered or he's just bad. Just buff him a bit, the point is to balance the game not listen to the people who were sick of seeing him from last patch :)
