First let me apologize for the timing of my questions for I can only assume how many questions you guys have answered since Ti5 ended. I have been playing DotA for about two months now, mainly against bots for I don't want my noobness to ruin a team, I can see some improvements, yet I feel as though I might be missing some very simple tricks. Support is my go to class for I have always loved the play style from a medic to the defender in City of Heroes. This is a hard game I won't deny it that is one reason I like it so much again I see there being simple things one can do to make it easier. Okay on to my questions.

1) Can you modify the recommended items tab permanently?

I know that you can change the items in the tab when you start the match, however, it is still a time consuming process to find which item is which for the build I am going for.

2) Does the courier go to the most recent hero who called it?

What I mean is do I have to keep watching the picture next to the courier to make sure I don't take it from a carry because that is something I do not want to do.

Now the last question is more playing advice then a need to know.

3) When placing wards is it ok to leave the carry I might be babysitting to ward the runes, or should I just place more wards around the carry to prevent a sneak attack?

Again this is something that if you want to answer fine if not I am sure there it somewhere in one of the guides I read. There were some more questions but as soon as I started writing they all went away.

Thank you for the time and any answers.

1)AFAIK you can save your custom items right in match, but I did this a long time ago so I don't remember how exactly, there should be a button anyway. There is a better way to modify your build recommendations - Steam builds, they can be found in Library near Credits tab, just choose a hero and you can create your own build and edit categories, you can even add descriptions and skill build in there.

2)Yes it does. You can shift-queue it to bring items to you/fly tot he secret shop after it finished it's current deliviery - just hold Shift key and order it to deliver items to you/fly to the shop/do something else and it will do it immediately after it finished it's current action. This works on all types of actions, not only with couriers.

3)It depends. Unless you really have a very aggressive lane opponents like some instakill combo or something that can just dive you carry under the tower, you can leave the lanefor a minute to ward, your carry should just play more safely.

1. Yeah there should be an option after you hit the edit button which is just a check mark.
3. Never for more than 30-45 seconds I'd say. If your in the safe lane than just have your carry stand in the jungle behind the trees where they could still get exp and a lil bit of farm while they are still close to you. If you're in hard lane shouldn't be much of a problem.
