The new cliff by the Radiant Secret Shop looks amazing.

But honestly, this was all about custom games. The rocks actually look better in my opinion... well... at least it doesn't look worse.

Did anyone notice the particle effects for all the lamp posts?

And the statues have changed, the Radiant/Dire signs have changed, and the eye thing for the ward is now officially the creepiest part of DotA.

Yep the rocks are probably the smallest possible thing this update brought, so I'll stop complaining about that now. But yeah, the ambient effects are awesome, and I love the cracked earth near the dire t2 where you can see the lava that supposedly flows all under the dire side.

Haha okay I guess your right, but I'm not personally a big fan of custom games and most of my time whithin the client is spent playing the game where I have to look at those rocks. Someone transitioning from league (a.k.a ****tiest graphics in a MOBA 2015) might like them, but they don't appeal to the players who are already here. Besides, I play a lot of support for my team, and so I'm constantly putting **** in those rocks lol

This! Ahahah exactly, ROCKS MATTER :D

The problem is that there are too many complains about the beta. Dunno whether it comes from new players, or players who have been playing for a quite a long time. They say that the Reborn version is awful. Of course it's awful, how do you expect it to be. I mean Valve clearly announced that the Reborn will be in Beta, and the full version will be released 2 months from now. It's clear to expect a lot of bugs, to report them, so that they can be fixed later.

Just look at the changelog: Dota 2 Reborn Updates
"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
Please PM me if you spot anything missing or outdated in the data base

Is it possible for serverside lag to cause stuttering in the game itself? Since I don't exactly have a high-end computer, but it should be able to run DoTA 2 with the settings I chose, but ping seems to be jumping to the clouds, which seems to have some kind of a correlation with my freezing and stuttering.

yes this is possible I have had it when I decided to run dota on lower grahpics.

Also is there a possibility of the reborn screwing up the dota servers because i have had games where I got kciked out and needed to reconnect
In love with the random button

something that no one seems to have brought up is the huge developments in workshop tools like the hammer editor. Also custom particles can now be directly imported into dota, valve has been asking for workshop developers to refrain from using them leading up to the source 2 release, but now LET THE PARTICLES BE WAVES.....I mean particles flood the workshop
Do as I say, not what I do
