Why did my entire data for dota 2 reset? I was level 70+(almost 80) and had done all my matches for mmr, now trying to climb out of my pit, and after i updated the new update today, i lost all the data. now back to level 1 and no more mmr.

my friend list remains though, but all my items are gone. Any idea why this happened?

send valve a Support Ticket, it will take almost a month to respond(personal experience) but they will generally fix it for you.
