So, I've run into an issue where I have become unable to deny creeps or towers. As in, physically unable to; you see, whenever I hold down the key to deny (which I have set to Q), the cursor displays the red arrow, yet when I go to deny the creep, my hero does nothing even though the creep was deniable.

Has anyone else had this issue or am I overlooking something?

you dont even need to use attack command for denies, i have enabled right click deny.

to do so just right click dota in your steam game list, properties, and type '-console' into launch options.
start the game and put put this into the console that should show on your screen: dota_force_right_click_attack 1

congrats now you can deny by just rightclicking on something.

But keep in mind that you still need the attack button to deny your tower. Autodenying doesn't apply there.
