Shadow blade is actually awesome as an initiator, but only in the lower ranked pub games. People know about dust but most people ignore sentries except when dewarding, so initiating with sb is very useful.

The thing about your build is you have no defensive items except for satanic. Meaning, you are a glass cannon. You probably have the highest dps in the entire game, but you will fall to anything that is not a 1v2. Especially since your preferred build does not contain bkb.

Another thing is that to kill roshan, in my experience all you need is yasha, phase and HoTD.(5250 gold). Compared to yours, crystalys, sb, HoTD, phase(8150 gold), it is much cheaper. If you are worried about wards, just get a smoke(100 gold) and walk into the pit.

I suggest getting shadow blade later after sny because i want to tank up a bit before starting to gank.

one thing that you've likely seen is that, in higher levels, supports leave their carry and try to gank other lanes, creating space for the carry to farm around the map. This is usually why the stacking/pulling supportbuys a Smoke of Deceit in their starting items. Crystal Maiden is a great example of that. In a trilane, you tend to get much more gold and exp(due to not getting zoned out to exp range and being able to just sit there and lasthit).

Here is a trilaning guide:

It is a bit old, but it should still apply.

haha oh man dotn worry to me see ive watched a pro games and im watching every year in the dota 2 championship or however its called...
ik that trilane its a very safe lane with sun and a lot of ways to gank... any way i dont really like to go there because you may lose some far,m to your team mate.. you alsolvl really slow and as i said your farm may be suck...
you right that you can play safe and kill safly in the trilane but if i had to choose i would have go mid lane this way you can getthe lost gold back if you died or buy Tp i think its alsoa great kane cause you can level up fast to level 6 and you will get the ultimate Battle Trance
you can go trilane but i dont really like it!

any way thank you man you actually right but i dont like this thing i wont add it sorry :D

By the way, in the pro scene, the main way that Troll Warlord is played is in trilanes.

By your explanation, I can tell that you don't know what a defensive trilane is. Let me explain.

Usually, your opponent will be running a trilane or jungler. It is very rare that pro teams go 2-1-2. All that you see(usually) is 2-1-1-1 or 3-1-1. This is because aggro dual lanes don't do anything. Usually, there is no kill potential, you are left open to ganks, and it becomes a war of harassing. Nobody actually ends up getting much gold, but there is just a stalemate.

In a trilane, however, you have much more options. Under almost all circumstances, there will only be one hero getting exp at a time. This is because supports are free to stack, pull, gank mid, zone the offlaner, and control runes. In dual lanes, you usually have to stand next to your carry not actually accomplishing anything. In trilanes, your supports aren't usually getting XP. They are creating space and farm for the carry. Troll Warlord is a hero that likes a good start. This can be accomplished by trilaning. In fact, it is USUALLY done with trilanes, because troll has lots of kill potential once he hits level 3. With a couple of disables and a little burst, you can snowball. If the lane gets pushed, transition into the jungle with a Morbid Mask. If you want to stay in lane, get a Helm of Iron Will

Watch some pro games. I think they will greatly improve how you play. Here is a link to BTS's Youtube Channel.

actually right now player trying to counter my Shadow Blade but the shadow blade isnt for escape its to get closer to an enemy what mean that of they will see me they will run and not even 1 hit will hurt me... if they will come to kill me then the Shadow Blade does oits thing and now i can gank ezly

You keep insisting Shadow Blade is core on troll.. If you keep going on with that mentality... You'll never be a really good Troll Warlord player. Once you get higher up in mmr, players will take measures to counter your Shadow Blade. Once that happens, you will have spent 2800 gold on a useless item. The only thing it will be good for is to scare the occasional support.
Also, Shadow Blade is Not an escape. I played an unranked Nyx Assassin game today where a sniper tried to use his [[shadow blade to escape. He didn't. That's why Dust of Appearance is an item. If you believe you can use your Shadow Blade to escape, you will not do well.

so first you right its really OP with this crazy build but i like it like this because this way ik i can win the match solo without needs to trust someone in my team... if your team is good with intaintor and withanother carry you can *** some def. items like Eye of Skadi

about the Shadow Blade i think that Troll Warlord without Shadow Blade is'nt so good he cant get closer to enemy and the enemythat facing you will run away so Shadow Blade is a preety cool thing to buy to him as a ganker its can be a escaping item to so why not...
i explain a little bit about it but i may add a little bit more THANK'S

You can win 1v5 with a Troll Warlord without building glass cannon. If anything tanky is the better way to do it, because you are harder to kill. Especially with a Satanic and your blind, you are almost impossible to kill, and still deal more DPS than most ther cores.

OVERKILL is generally a bad thing in DOTA, because it means you are being superfluous with item slots - And in a game where item balance comes from more from slots rather than gold cost, that matters.

you right bro.. it os OVERKILL but you must understand this is the guifr for a solo Troll Warlord that mean you gonna win 1 vs 5 with this guide like every game of mine!

bout the Shadow Blade iil add more about it but i put some basic information in it all you need to do is get close to an enemy and kill him!
i dont think Shadow Blade is A situational item you must have it! by my opnion its sure item to buy...
after you buy it you not allow to farm in jungle you can just gank every one!

and about my build its OP but you can switch something and add a def. item like Eye of Skadi

plz rate i work hard for that thintg :D

Yeah, troll comes online at around the 20 minute mark, and then farms like crazy and kills everything. I actually like Desolator on him, but nobody builds it for some reason.
