I think you should change the "Got gold early? Want Roshan?" items to 2 seperate ones, "Defensive Extensions" for the Drum, Vlads and Mek and "Want Roshan?" as a seperate one.

Ok, Yeah I got a little bit tired when editing and such, where I just randomly put that in.

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in your guide that certain "blink" abilities of heroes can be used and work as they would regardless of said hero being netted, I have had some pretty bad experiences with a Riki blinking to his creep, a Morphling wave forming out of reach, a slark pouncing toward his tower for safety. I'm pretty sure there are more that would work, just something that might be worth mentioning in your guide

Hello !
Thanks for this guide. I use to play meepo since i've began dota (120 games on him), but with pretty low mmr (2k6 - 3k).

Few months ago i played with agressive items (hex, EB, cuirass) but that was not really opti caus' i still died during fights.
So now i play him with only tancky items, and thats way better : Tranquils boots / Aga / Blink / HoT / Skadi / Skadi (or tarasque if i need to be more tancky). I also buy some travels acording the game.

... and thats way better. If the early game is balance, i'm almost sure to carry the game once my 1st tarasque is up because i've already sooooo many burst + tanckyng. That + the farming capacity of meepo which permit to get the skadi so quickly after ur firsts items.

Another thing, i'm not sure if cuirass is really an opti item for meepo. I dont have the numbers, but cuirass gives 35 AS + 10 armor, when EB gives 40 agi + the etheral ability. Isn't it more worth it ? You just won't give the aura to ur mates, so you have to carry.

One of my biggest issues with this heroe is that u cant get a 7th item once u've dagger / aga / tarasque / travels / skadi x2.... :(

Thanks again for the guide ! ++

Hey no problem for the guide! glad it helps at-least someone. :D
Yeah Meepo has a really weird item choice in-which requires you too have a lot of knowledge of the game and how your match is shaping and where it's going to go.
The Eblade was more of an item designed to use then blink+poof on the enemies face, so AC is better if you can't do that.
again thanks for using my guide. :D

hello sir , very nice guide +voted.
i have just 1 question sir. i usually used ` as my hero key and f1 for all meepos f2 for all clones and b for 2 meepos n for other 2 meepos.
would u suggest to split all meepos to dif keys like u do 1,2,3,4,5 for each meepo and what are ur items keys because if u split all meepos from 1-5 it would take all my inventory keys.

thnx :)

Hey, thanks for the vote, I use z,x,c,v,b,n for my inventory, im weird haha, i use 1-5 as Meepos, generally 1 is always my hero and yeah I do also think other key-binds would work better, but i got so comfortable playing things like, world of warcraft etc.

I wouldn't get Tranquil Boots as they're pretty useless on farm-dependent Heroes after the nerf, but the rest of the build is exactly how I would build Meepo if I had to play him. The only problem is the lack of some really strong late-game items like the Ethereal Blade or the Scythe of Vyse, but you can add them.

tranquils are still ok to build for the early game...

start with ring of protection, build the tranquils... buy a sage's mask....
then disassemble the tranquils, build a basilius and treads. keep the ring of regen until you want to go for Vlad's or Mek...

If you're farming amazingly, sell the ring and go straight for aghanim's.

But regardless... tranquil boots are a good start to heal one meepo at a time between lvl 3 and 7 (on which you'll have maxxed poof and can 1shot the easy camp anyway)

Whenever someone on my enemy team picks meepo, my team is completely and utterly unprepared to deal with it, but when I pick it, boom, 5 counters :P

Seriously though, I'd be willing to try meepo to test this guide, it looks good anyway :)

Thanks, haha, yeah, I suffer the same problem, and with picking before the times us rule, it makes it harder for meepo players to get an easy game going :D, Enjoy the build.

Tranquil Boots used to work as a charm... now ill take Power Treads over them every day specially since i usually rush my blink dagger. Also please consider that meepo has a very weird role in his team, as he is not a proper carry, but he leashes exp from his team's carry so he should be extremely active during mid game, usually once u pick up a dagger.

Also, it seems u forgot to recommend a skillbuild? if so my personal skillbuild is 1 point on Earthbind, max Poof, and max Geostrike.

yeah i mention the mid game potential in the guide, but you raise a good point were he leeches exp, I'll recommend a build now.
