DotA2 Skill: Nether Ward

Nether Ward

Casting Method:Active
Targetting Method:Target Point
Allowed Targets:Enemy Units
Pugna places a nether ward that fires mana flares at enemy heroes who dare to cast spells, while also causing them to lose mana. Nether Ward deals damage equal to the damage multiplier times the mana spent by the enemy hero. Lasts 30 seconds.

Radius: 1600
Duration: 30
Hit to kill: 4
Damage Per Mana Used: 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2.0
Mana Regeneration: 0.25% / 0.5% / 0.75% / 1%
Mana Cost: 80 Cooldown Time: 35
Additional Information
Notes:
  • Ability Modifiers such as Searing Arrows, Arcane Orb, and Impetus will trigger Mana Flare even if set to autocast.
  • Procs of Quill Spray from Bristleback's passive will count as cast spells, using 35 mana as damage (despite not costing Bristleback any mana).
  • Requires 3 hero attacks or 12 other attacks to destroy.
  • Mana Flare deals the damage before the actual spell is cast, so if the target dies, the spell will have no effect and be set on cooldown.
  • Nether Ward can be targeted by Decrepify and will continue to function while under its effect.
  • The multiplier will effectively be 1.5 / 1.87 / 2.25 / 2.62 against decrepified units.
  • Can potentially deny 45 / 90 / 135 / 180 mana if a enemy hero is in its radius for the full duration.

Summons a Nether Ward that prevents enemy heroes from regenerating mana and can cast Mana Flare, which deals damage to enemy heroes as they cast spells. Lasts 25 seconds. Each level increases the area of effect of the Ward's Mana Flare, the Mana Flare damage, the negative mana regen and the hp of the ward.
