Wings Dota is one of the most unique teams in TI history. In one year, they claimed the Aegis with unpredictable hero pool and item build. In the next, none of them could return and defend the title.

But behind the glory hid a darker reality: The team was on the verge of disbanding for months, they physically fought each other and nearly quit The International 2016. The controversial “ACE life-time ban” put the final nail in their coffins.

In this video essay, we will explore their rise and fall, and the long-lasting they left behind.

In addition: I love Dota and I have been playing this game for nearly two decades. I learned to create video content from scratch and honour this beautiful game!
