Hello and thank you for reading my profile/post !

My name is Morpheus. I am a 23 year old male and relatively new player. I currently live in the Netherlands and speak both Dutch and English. While I am certainly not a good player. I have encountered players far worse than me. I am sorry if this is a little boring but I am really trying to organize some thoughts right now. Typing it down helps me with it. It will get better I promise. If your looking for someone to play with who tries to make it fun. I encourage you to read on.

At the moment i am searching for fun, mature and interactive players to play Dota 2 with. Preferably people with an higher skill level than mine. Who are also willing to teach me about the game. I prefer talking to people over typing to them so a having a mic is very welcome !

I have never tried to engage with an online community before. The reason why I am trying do that now is: Because it's currently very hard to find a job in the region I live in. I have secured myself a job at the moment but I don't work full time. And often I have to work in the weekends and evenings. So I try to see my friends and girlfriend as often as I can while also trying to workout a bit. I do help around the house but we live in a relatively small apartment. It does not take me eons to vacuum or do the dishes you know ? Yes we still do the dishes by hand! Which is by the way, much more effective and least costly compared to a dishwasher :D . I also treasure my alone time during which I am able to workout or play games. I do enjoy the occasional joint to get high once or twice a week. Hell it's the Netherlands right ?! How can you NOT smoke :)

I also play a lot of different other games but am currently only interested in Dota. The game really appeals to me on multiple levels. I did not lurk this forum for anytime. I read two or three guides and then immediately went to the forum to register.

I don't know how the community's atmosphere is. I'm gonna try to get a feel of the community by using this profile/post and the responses I get from it. I wont post anything more about myself in this post. Because I am willing to bet it bores you all ! But if you have a question just leave a post below and maybe we will stumble upon something funny! If people are willing to play dota and teach me. Please Also post below.

I really hope that I'll get some good/fun responses from friendly people who are trying to have a good time and play Dota.

My first question: Do we have a teamspeakchannel or something lke it ?

- Morpheus.

Edit: I usually play support.

Welcome to DOTAFire! Enjoy your stay :)

Yes, we do have a Team Speak channel, but I don't know if people is actually using it.

We have a special matchmaking section where everyone is searching for people to play with or even to form a team to start playing in tournaments.

I suggest you to visit that section, where you might find the people you need :)

Good luck and have fun!

Most users on Dotafire communicate with the in-game chat or Skype.
