Hey I've been playing QoP lately, but it's been a problem for me to get enough gold for orchid (my preferred item on her, although I will get other big items if the team makes it more effective than orchid.)
My build is normally: (Mid-lane QoP, yes she is my main mid laner) Tango> Ring of Protection>Bottle>Bracer>Mana Boots> Orchid

That's my build up to orchid. Should I get a hand of Midas or something? It takes so long to get orchid(25 min mark normally, but it's long enough for the other team to get their full set) my last hitting and farming is good, I even normally get early game kills. What's the problem?

It's kind of hard to advise without seeing game records / replays etc. Are you last hitting successfully and winning your lane? Are you getting early kills and assists? Are you dying a lot?

A few tips...

Don't go Ring of Protection in your starting build. No reason to ever buy this on QoP. Go Null Talisman + Tango. Already that's +9 right-click damage compared to what you have, so a LOT more last hitting potential.

Essentially you have starting items that give you literally zero right-click damage. How are you supposed to compete for last hits with that? A general rule on mid hereos is that you should always build as much damage as you can for last-hitting.

If you don't like the Null Talisman because you want a faster bottle, go something like 2* Iron Branch + 2* Faerie Fire and rush bottle. That's already +6 damage for very little gold. It's a bit greedy so if you want a safer build in a harder matchup add in a tango (or ask for one from supports).

Don't ever buy Arcane Boots on QoP. If you're going orchid, rush orchid or treads into orchid. Treads also give +9 INT (if you switch them), so that's also some last-hitting potential. Robe of the Magi to build into orchid or treads is also some INT, same thing.

Another point, but you can only see this with replays, is how much time you spend ganking and how much time you spend mid farming. If you want a fast orchid as QoP the easiest thing to do is just to sit mid AFK farming for ~14 minutes. But then of course you'll have pretty low early game impact and your team can get destroyed in their lanes. So if you gank a lot end end up with a ton of assists making space for your carry, but you have low farm, there's nothing wrong with that. But you need to be efficient with it, like only commit time to a gank if you're sure you can get a kill out of it.

Alright thanks for the suggestions so far, got some really good advice.
At first, I got the Ring of Protection + Tango for a easier lane. But the iron branch + faerie fire sounds more reliable.
Sorry, I don't have any QoP replays, I'll try to make one soon, but I won't have the time to play for a day or two.

Also for last hitting/landing, I try to lane as long as possible and hit around all of my creeps (with the exception of my opponents denies) I rarely die in lane, and tend to harass a bit with QoP's First skill.
I will go for ganks at the other lanes, and normally get kills. But kills will sometimes not go to me.
