Looking for Mentor Today!

Hey there mate, my name's Anthony. :)
I'm a veteran league player (1,500+ matches/3 years of experience) and am shipping my way over to Dota 2. I would really like to give this game an honest whack at, and have no clue where to start. I've watched numerous videos while it downloads, and read countless articles and still feel lost (as is to be expected.) Would you be willing to help me out with game mechanics, and possibly give me a better understanding of the roles involved.

Make sure to play lots of meepo. Currently he is broken in the meta. All you have to do is a click.
