I personally have not played Dota 1 (pls don't kill me), but after a trip from China (were apparently Steam is banned...even though China won TI4...gg wp China) I became aware of the huge amount of heroes that were removed from Dota 1. One hero I loved, was the Gambler, and this is my idea on how he could return without being overpowered as ****!

Maverick, the Gambler

Radiant, Agility, Melee

Lore
Maverick was hopeless. He was a drunkard, addicted to gambling, and did nothing to help his household. At the age of 16, he was disowned by his family. At 20, he already had a 6000 gold debt. His income came from a few street acts, and gambling, though he never won much money. One might call him unlucky, but to Maverick, it was just a matter of next time. To him, every time he lost some gold, next time he would surely win it back. Soon enough, all the casino's and Tavern's in his area banned him from entering. This didn't detour him, he just packed up his belonging, and walked to the next settlement. One might believe this story would end with Maverick dying poor and hungry, but Maverick's luck changed. He must have found something in his travel's because soon, he became the infamous, Gambler. With his golden dice, and his old deck of cards, he won every kind of card game and guess ever thought of. To Maverick, gambling lost its magical touch. It became too easy. So Maverick left for even greater challenges, he left for the greatest gamble, war.

He has 3 skills in which he can level 8 times, and his ult can be leveled once when all of his abilities have at least one point in them.
