what the hell does this mean by recommanded to stack magic amp
(links from dota wiki)
Magical damage can also be amplified, though stacking amplification is not as effective as stacking resistance because amplification is summed before it is multiplied. For example, if a target is both ethereal (+40%) and under the effect of a Veil of Discord (+25%), damage is calculated :magical damage × ( 1 + 0.65 ), making the maximum magical damage that can be applied to a hero 123.75% of the effect's base magical damage.

ez

it means that you can get a spell to do 165% of it's damage on a target with decryp & veil, but if you take into account the hero natural magic resistance (25%) that gives you

1,65-(1,65 . 25 / 100) = 1,2375 (% damage of the spell actually dealt considering natural magic res)
Even a warped mind can see the odds stacked against it!
