I was watching a few pro games and noticed just how fast they can farm up, and was wondering how do they farm so effectively in such little time.

And any tips for farming?

2 Tips:

If u can hafe lane Creeps tacke them. Don't stay in jungle when there is a lane to farm.
If u want to go from the Bot lane to the middle lane. There are 2 ways TP if u have to be there imidiatly or clear every jungle camp on the way. So you thing ahead where u want to be an a minute or so.

Farm the lane.

Farm the jungle when your creeps are pushing the lane upto near your opponent's tower or when there are heroes in the lane that can potentially kill you.

Always bring a TP scroll. Teleport to a teamfight if you think it is winnable. If not, tell your teammates to back. Also, a TP scroll can be handy when your tower is being pushed by creeps. You can simply teleport to that tower and farm the creeps.

Pls...call it a carry. Farmer sounds like...a guy on a ranch :)
If you want to know if it is okay for a carry to ward spots that supports can't get to because it's too dangerous or they don't have stuff like Blink then yes it is perfectly possible.
It can also happen, that your supports don't buy enough wards to ensure your safety, Then it is usually better to just buy a ward yourself as the gold will pay for itself.
