Hey all, is there a good spot to get a good representation of what builds into what on the items? I'm having a difficult time memorizing it

There is a special game available when you are queuing where you have to assemble an item from it's parts correctly.

There is also a recipe tree system on DotaFIRE's Items page: http://www.dotafire.com/dota-2/items , if an item has a recipe it isn't shown there, but it displays the cost as %recipe cost%/%total cost%, for example, 1000/5500 for Daedalus.

Finally, Dotabuff shows item's components and if an item is a component of another item: http://www.dotabuff.com/items .

The game that Dimonychan is talking about is this one: http://www.dota2.com/quiz

It's a really good way of starting to know the items by heart (that's how I did it too).

Also, is there a guide as far as stackability? For example, if I want to overclock Spirit Breaker to give him a lethal charge without using his ult by repeatedly having him stun an opponent, would gloves of haste stack with tread boots, which include gloves of haste in it's build? Would they stack with each other if I was just looking to built his attack speed as fast as possible on the cheap?

Yes, the stats stack. The ones that don't are mentioned. But you don't really want to buy the same item over and over. (unless you're really poor as a support maybe and getting a couple of bracers to help you in fights).

Most item and their components stack additively or multiplicatively. Some movement speed bonuses do not stack, for example MS from multiple boots, MS from different Yashas, Orb of Venom, Eye of Skadi slows don't stack(at least between 2 OoV or Skadi's, I'm not sure if Orb stacks with Skadi), active item effects don't stack and share cooldown, etc.

You can find most of the info about that on Dota 2 Wiki. It's by far the most accurate and complete Dota 2 database that lists a lot f stuff and gives answers to most questions.
