Blocks the "effects" of a spell every so many seconds, but not the damage

Or blocks a spell every so many seconds when not moving

Or both

Could be reset by starting to run and then standing still again like when building a refresher (perseverance x2)

A familiar effect to the shadow amulet

And I think people would use refresher way more
