Felicity's Blessing Effect Bugged??

So, I just turned my NBC Shagbark into a FB Shagbark, only to find out that I had traded one bugged courier effect for another. For those of you who didn't know, the Felicity Blessing effect for some reason no longer trails on the ground behind the courier when they are made flying, but instead floats on the air under them.

What's worse is that, when I go to report this bug on Dota Dev forums, I find out that this problem has been in effect since last January?? First of all, how did I not know about this?? And second of all, how has Valve not gotten around to fixing such a silly cosmetic flaw in OVER A YEAR?? It really couldn't be that hard to fix, could it? It was working in 2012, surely there's a simple fix?

Worse still, this doesn't give me a great deal of hope for the NBC effect getting fixed, or seeing a fix for the absence of particle effects in low color saturation prismatic gems.

VALVE, I SHAME THEE!

Valve is working hard on keeping the New Bloom festival running & making sure that the next update is going to be reasonably epic. It is a minor bug and shouldn't have major priority, I believe.
