First and foremost I don't know where to put this thread. I can't find anything in dotafire regarduing guide-making problems :/

So today I faced off against a problem to my still-created guide... The text seems to overlap inside or outside the spoiler. The other chapters are fine except for this one. I tried making a new chapter and then well, it didn't solve the problem. It's best to be explained through pictures...

Moved to proper subforum. Are you by chance using Justify? I am not sure if it's possible to use it while writing guides, but I just want to make sure. Because your lines are aligned both at the begining and at the end.

It appears you have used the "float" command without using the "clear" command. "clear" is like a "/float".

Either that, or you have a table/columns that you forgot about.

Thank you for moving it to the right subforum :), I needed help back there lol
I don't think so :/. I even made a new chapter and tested it out, didn't seem to change anything :/.

I don't use the "float" command, it's quite hard for me to understand it's use. I'll check my coding ASAP so I can continue, but do BBCodes/Commands still continue on to the chapters if not canceled?

I don't think I understood myself let me try to make it clearer:

If I used the float command for example, on my 1st chapter, and I didn't do a /float or something, will it affect every chapter after it?

I just checked and went through the whole thing, but I didn't use /justify or anything like that at all. I'm using a table-styled "rule" but it's working out fine. I ended it with a
and stuff.

Tried to make a fake guide and the thingies are still there :/

If it helps I'm using Firefox and it's up to date

Could you copy the code of this chapter to a pastebin.com paste and link it here? I could take a look.

Apparently, this problem has caused EVERY OTHER guide to be affected... I tried making a new test guide and I just held "q" for 10-seconds and the same problem occurred. So I don't think the problem here is my coding with the guide. But I'm willing to try :).

I noticed at least two problems that may break your code.

1. You don't seem to have a [/columns] tag to end the columns
2. When you use a nextcol, you usually want to define the width of it by using [nextcol width=px] instead of

Thank you so much for checking it out! I'll try it right now in hopes of finishing this one guide.

The nextcol thing code was just copy-pasted from here... Except it's different in formatting and content of course. Although it worked well on my Sven guide o.O I don't know where I messed up, and I'm glad you pointed things out for me as I am very new to using BBCodes :)
