The Reaper

Zyphris is a unique agility carry which can become massively enabled through his allies and enemies. His Q "Deathwind" deals minor damage overtime while allowing Zyphris's attacks to additionally deal 1% of the targets maximum HP. His W "Soul Resonance" causes those near death to become resilient providing Zyphris with bonus attack damage. Alternately with an Aghanim's Scepter, this spell can reduce the attack damage of an enemy significantly. His E "Spirit Bind" binds a target ally or enemy, sharing buffs and in the case of enemies also sharing debuffs. His Ultimate allows him to seal away all of an enemy's abilities, forming weights which in turn slow the unit - until they are destroyed, releasing the seal upon its corresponding ability. Zyphris's innate ability "Essence Manifest" causes him to regenerate the entirety of his physical form, unless the remainder of his mana pool is additionally destroyed.

Shrouds an enemy in death magic, draining their life force allowing the Reaper's attacks to pierce their very existence.
Soul Resonance
Dispels a target ally granting incoming damage reduction equivalent to their % of missing HP. During this time the Reaper's damage output is increased by the same amount. (If Spirit Bind is applied to the target, casting Soul Resonance automatically summons the reaper to the targets location in order to cast Soul Resonance). Ability may also be self-cast.

Draws upon a soul nearing death causing it to resonate, altering its connection to the physical realm while boosting the Reaper's attack power.
Spirit Bind
Once activated, the Reaper permanently binds himself to an enemy or ally. Binding an ally causes both units to share copies of their buff effects. Binding enemies causes the Reaper to gain a copy of all buff effects the enemy receives, as well as inflict any debuffs the Reaper receives with the target enemy. In order to break the binding, an enemy must inflict enough damage to the Reaper to surpass the damage threshold.

Ultimate Abilities

Reaper's Seal
Wraps an enemy in chains, sealing all of its abilities away into weights which drag behind the unit slowing it down. Each chain maintains a separate length to its corresponding weight. Only the afflicted target can destroy the Reaper's Seals.

Essence Manifest
If the Reaper loses all of his HP, the remainder of his mana is converted into health causing him to enter his Essence form. The Reaper's depleted health bar begins refilling itself at the rate of his current mana regeneration. The Reaper cannot use any abilities or heal until his physical form has completed its manifestation. Takes increased magic damage while in this state.

Lore

A Reaper's motives almost always remain a mystery until after the fact. No one knows much about Zyphris or why he has chosen to pledge his allegiance to the Eternal Darkness. However, many believed this to be an omen of a greater purpose and it has helped sway many minds towards serving the Darkness. Why one of the strongest Reapers sworn to Death's service would support any other cause seems controversial at best. One thing is certain however, a rivalry with a certain member of the Celestial Order has begun unfolding. What could their connection be, and why have they both chosen to come to Rue? Only time will tell.
