Storm Runner

A support mage that uses slows and movespeed to gain an advantage over the enemy heroes. After gaining enough movespeed, Storm Runner can be quite a deadly force to deal with.

Storm Runner, A suggested way to play

The hero should be used as either a mid laner or a lane support, making use of their spells to bully out the laning opponent with ease. Combining forces with Centaur leads to a deadly amount of damage for either Storm Runner of their whole team if used alongside Hurricane.

Q - Offers lane harass and ganking potential using the slow or movement speed to beat down an enemy
W - Offers protection for an ally being ganked or for yourself in times of need
E - Offers damage and the ability to harass enemy heroes
R - Offers excellent teamfight damage

Building arcane or tranquil boots will offer Storm Runner the tools to spam spells or keep their damage high meaning the hero has two ways of utilising boots. Following up boots should either be Drum of Endurance or a Euls Scepter as they allow Storm Runner to have utility while gaining movespeed to make the best use of their passive. Aghanims should be bought most games as it reflects ALL incoming damage and slows in an AoE allowing easier engages and chases as the hero is naturally fast. Late game items should be Boots of Travel, Scythe of Vyse or Refresher Orb to allow easier teamfights while keeping their movespeed high to ensure maximum damage is achieved.
