Atomic Avatar

Ranged intelligence nuclear physics themed hero with a literal nuke as his ultimate!



Primary attribute: Intelligence

Agility: 25 + 2.4
Intelligence: 32 + 4

Atomic Avatar's biggest strenght is his third ability. A passive which leaves behind zones of weakening radiation wherever he goes, casts spells, or attacks.
His first ability is a very large AEO slow that travels forward. If anyone touches the center of the AEO the entire AEO will explode, dealing high damage and ministunning.
Is second ability relatively long cooldown mobility tool that theoretically has a very high damage potential and juking potential but will cost a lot of mana. Dealing maxium damage will require a lot of setup too.
His ultimate is a whopper of a spell that deals an unrivaled amount of damage in an equally unrivaled radius. But don't be fooled, it is easily countered and requires Atomic Avatar to channel it for 10 full seconds if he wants to deal full damage, and it only deals its maximum damage at close range.
His scepter gives him a comperatively more reliable high damage nuke that will help him deal with magic immunity.
His shard gives him the ability to irradiate a very large zone on the map for a very long time by putting down an effigy. The effigy has a high gold bounty though so it must be protected!

Despite having a big mana pool and high int gain Atomic Avatar is a really mana hungry hero. All his spells are really expensive.

All of his spells are "slow" but devastating in one way or another so Atomic Avatar really benefits from having teammates with stuns. He desperately needs someone to help setup his spells. He's not an independent hero.

Atomic avatar is really weak to interrupts and magic immunity. Mana burn will also hurt him, and while he is a walking nuke he's also really weak to being nuked due to his low health pool.

Atomic Avatar can be played in most roles besides carry. Though mid, offlane, or soft support will probably suit him the best.

Primary Abilities

Atom blast
Atomic Avatar enlarges an atom and shoots it forward. The atom is a slow-moving projectile consisting of two parts, the atomic nucleus at the center and the electron cloud surrounding it. Enemies within the electron cloud are slowed by 25/30/35/40%. If the atomic nucleus contacts an enemy hero it will explode, dealing damage and stunning everyone in the radius of the nucleus and electron cloud for 0.4/0.6/0.8/1 seconds.

Quantum leap
Atomic Avatar teleports to a location dealing damage to all enemies within a 450 radius of Atomic Avatar's new position. After having teleported Atomic Avatar has 3 seconds to cast Quantum leap again. If he does so he will teleport to the same place again after the 3 second delay is finished. Doing so will force Atomic Avatar to pay Quantum Leap's mana cost a second time.

All of Atomic Avatar's spells, attacks, and movement leaves behind radiation that lowers enemy magic resistance, armor, any form of health regeneration, and healing in a radius. Radiation lingers for a lengthy duration.

Atomic Avatar constantly leaves behind a trail of radiation that is 200 units wide.
Radiation left behind from Atomic Avatar's attacks splashes in a 200 unit radius around his target.
Radiation left behind from Atomic Avatar's spells is equal to the exact radius of his spells.
Multiple instances of Radiation do not stack.

Ultimate Abilities

Brighter than a thousand suns
Atomic Avatar starts a nuclear fusion inside of himself channeling atomic power inside of his body which he will release as an immense amount of damage in a massive radius around him when he stops channeling. Brighter than a thousand suns will always go off, regardless of how the channeling is stopped. The damage is based on the time spent channeling. The closer the enemy is to the center of the detonation radius the more damage they take. The maximum channel time is 10 seconds.
Atomic Avatar will become visible to the enemy team after 2 seconds of channeling.

Brighter than a thousand suns has a radius of 3000 units.
Every 30 units away from Atomic Avatar reduces the damage taken by 1%.

The total damage of Brighter than a thousand suns scales linearly during the channel duration until maximum damage is reached. Brighter than a thousand suns will always deal at least 1 damage to every enemy in the radius.

Because I think it's cool and it's a reference to a book that chronicles the creation of the first atomic bomb.
