Gal'Zeruk, the Great Reformer is a strong nuker who can be played either as a roamer and teamed up with another disabler ensure a lot of early kills or as a midlaner who can deal ridiculous amounts of damage if he gets level advantage. His first ability, Restructure, allows him to roam efficiently by creating new paths that he and his allies can use to attack from unexpected directions. Disintegrate is his main nuke damage, as it deals pure damage and has a very low cooldown, and also takes away enemies armour, making them easier to kill. All his abilities cost high amounts of mana, but he can solve this problem with Essense Drain, which allows him to steal Mana with his attacks. In teamfights, he can sustain his team with his ultimate, Arcane Refraction, which heals even more as more damage is dealt in combat. So, with a very high roaming potential, low cooldown nukes and heals, and endless mana sustain, Gal'Zeruk is an eternal threat to enemies and an overlooked presence in teamfights.

Lore

Imperfect.
That is the only word with we can describe the universe where we live. Not even the titans nor the fundamentals themselves were able to create perfection. Its like we were doomed to live with the failures and the suffering that the imperfection brings to us, like there is no way to escape from it, like there is nothing more than this.

No.
A voice was heard from deep in the endless void of the universe. An entity who just stared in silence the creation of all we know. Gal'Zeruk. That was the name which it gave to itself. It knew that it was impossible to create perfection, but it also knew why, because it witnessed the very beginning of everything. When the primordial mind, the perfect unity, shattered, it created all what we know, but it also brought the curse of imperfection to the newborn universe. As one of the countless fragments of the perfect unity, the only way it could create perfection was to reunify the primordial mind once more, but that was impossible. The other fragments has already taken their own courses and separated from each other.
There could be any other way?

Destroy everything.
A thought passed on its mind, asking for ruin and chaos. Gal'Zeruk knew that there was no way of reuniting the primordial mind, but it could do something else. Destroy the entire creation and then, with a new perfect unity, itself, a perfect universe could be finally created.
Knowing this, it set its sight on the place where all creation was born: the forge of the Titans. If it could destroy the place where all the worlds were created, destroying the rest of the universe would be easy.
It was a cataclysmic battle. Hundreds of titans died in combat, and thousands of worlds were destroyed, but they finally stopped the entity's offensive. They would not left something like that to happen again, so, they took the strongest materials they could found and forged a coffin to entrap the one who brought destruction to the creation, and contain him forever.

. . .

This chains feel loose.
Despite this, it could not move its body. It tried again. Nothing happened. But the chains that trapped him for so long were already loosing their strength. It could not miss this opportunity. One attempt more. Nothing. Again. Nothing. Then it finally noticed it. There was no body to move.
After eons of being entrapped in that coffin, its corporeal body had dissipated, leaving only the essence of Gal'Zeruk to inhabit it. It tried something different. The coffin reacted to its will. It tried to move its arm. The coffin did. Breaking the chains that drained its power, it was free again to continue its reformation, to destroy everything, to create a perfect universe.

Trivia

* Gal'Zeruk depises all kind of organic life, as they are all product of the imperfection of the worlds they were born.
* The primordial mind from where Gal'Zeruk was born is the same one from where Zet was, because that, he refers to him as "brother"
* Gal'Zeruk tries to convince Zet to join his purpose, as both are looking for unity and harmony.
* He also tries to incorporate Skitskurr to his purpose, promising him that, once the whole universe was destroyed, he would start the construction of a new one.
* Gal'Zeruk despises the tintans, as they forged the imperfect worlds of the universe.
* He also despises the fundamentals because they don't do anything to bring perfection to the universe, despite they could do.
* Among all the time he spent travelling from world to world (and destroying them by the way), the only thing that he found almost perfect is Slithice's voice, and he tells her that he could consider save her from the destruction of the universe.
